At school, a Careers Teacher once gave me a leaflet entitled “So you want to be an Estate Agent?” I rather precociously wrote “No I don’t, I want to be a Radio Presenter” across the top and handed it back to him (I have nothing against Estate Agency by the way) Whilst vividly illustrating what an obnoxious little know-it-all I was at the age of 14, my leaflet vandalism was also a pretty accurate prediction of what I would ultimately do with my future. Since 2004 i have been a professional voice artist, working on projects throughout Europe, ranging from complex e learning modules to audio guides, radio and TV documentaries, corporate presentations and online content. My clients have included The Discovery Channel The Tate Modern The National Gallery The BBC The Longitude Prize AVG Vestas Wind Farms Royal Canin Kwik Fit The Aztec Group ING Bank Carlsberg I have also found myself portraying The Voice of Erectile Dysfunction - Twice. In addition to being a BBC Radio presenter since 2006, I have performed as a stand up comedian and been employed as both an audio producer and an advertising copywriter. This means as a voice over with home recording facilities I fully understand the importance of timing and delivery, high production values and the clarity of the message. I also thoroughly enjoy what I do and look forward to each new project that comes my way.
